Han Zhang was born in Shanghai, China. He received both his B.S. and M.S. degree from the Dept. of Automation in Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011 and 2014 respectively. He got his Ph.D. in Applied and Computational Mathematics specialized in Optimization and Systems Theory from Dept. of Mathematics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden in 2019. He was supervised by Xiaoming Hu, and co-supervised by Elias Jarlebring. After spending two years in industry, he is now a tenure track assistant professor in Dept. Automation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2021. He is currently with the research group of Autonomous Robot Lab.
